In addition to accepting sponsorships and donations, we are also creating what we are calling Event Shares. An Event Share allows your organization to invest in the event. Each Event Share will be $100. Shares will be limited to 100 shares. This will be similar to stock in a for profit corporation.  At the conclusion of the event, proceeds will be distributed to Event Shareholders on the following basis. Each share will receive 1% of the proceeds up to 100% of the share price. Proceeds in excess of this distribution will be returned to share holders at the rate of .5% per share. The remaining 50% of excess proceeds would be retained by Evergreen Leather Events to create seed money for future events. If things do well, this could be an annual event.
